The following is from Henry Ilg with COPA Flight 5 in Boundary Bay. Please contact Henry directly if you would like to participate.Hello Folks,
This message is going out to all who volunteered at the September 2012 COPA flight 5 COPA-for-Kids flights at Boundary Bay airport.
At this past Wednesday's COPA Flight 5 / BBFC meeting we set the date for our next COPA for Kids flights. It is May 25, 2013 and the location will again be at Boundary Bay airport.
Like we did last fall, our plan is to start with a mini ground school at 10:00 and each hour until 15:00. The sign-up sheet will have seats listed at these times:
10:00
11:00
12:00
13:00
14:00
15:00
The last flight should be finished and clean-up in progress by 16:00.
Please email Henry Ilg hhilg@direct.ca to let me know if you are available.
Also let me know if you are available for the full day or if not, which hours?
Pilots please let me know if you are available. For planning slots on the sign-up sheet please let me know if you are available for all 6 flights or if you will skip a flight for a lunch break or plan to leave early. I'll also need to know which aircraft (type) you'll fly and number of available seats for each flight.
A similar message was sent out via google groups to the BBFC-COPA 5 members and some of you will receive the information twice. No need to reply a second time if you have already done that.
I look forward to hearing from you and another successful COPA for Kids day.
Cheers,
Henry Ilg

PS The front page of the latest COPA News had an article about COPA
for Kids events of 2012. In 2012 our COPA Flight 5 flew 230 kids,
the second highest number of kids in Canada. Vernon's COPA Flight
flew the highest number of kids.
